McKenna here is also a personal baby, she is 18 months old and an absolute cuddle bug.
Her tragic story tore at my heart strings. It was her very own father that took her life. He took her from the mother because they were getting a divorce and he didn't want to, so he planned on revenge, after he had killed her and was arrested, he said to the mother "you should have stayed, she died because of your actions. " her mother never got over it and turned to drugs, and eventually overdosed. She is lost and still has not found her way, nor her child.
McKenna is very living and doesn't really understand most of what was happening to her, but that never stopped her from opening up to is and just soak up all the attention and love she has gotten here. I know our dogs literally see her, they will stare at her vessel and then follow something at child size level to the play area in the livingroom. They sit down next to the toybox and just stare back and forth.
